For this particular role, our client is seeking a Content Strategist (Social Media Manager)  who will oversee and enhance client brand communications across various social media platforms. This position entails developing and implementing effective social media strategies that align with clients' marketing objectives.

We are looking for a
Content Strategist (Social Media Manager) who will act as the guiding force for a Social Media Squad by establishing strategic frameworks, guidelines, and content pillars for operations. This role demands a blend of creativity, strategic oversight, and a deep understanding of social media trends to drive brand visibility and engagement.



Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Define and maintain the content strategy, ensuring all output aligns with brand goals and current social trends.
  • Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring the team stays on-brand and produces content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with creatives, data intelligence analysts, and community managers to optimize content and engagement strategies.
  • Agility: Adapt strategies based on performance data and social insights to ensure maximum effectiveness.
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging, platform-specific content (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, etc.) that aligns with the content strategy.
  • Community Building: Foster community engagement and manage online reputation.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Analyze social media metrics to assess campaign effectiveness, making data-driven decisions and preparing regular performance reports.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to ensure innovative and relevant social media practices.



Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years in social media strategy or management, preferably within an advertising agency or in-house context.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Expertise: Familiarity with social platforms’ algorithms, engagement tools, and trends, as well as proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Brandwatch).
  • Creative Skills: Strong writing abilities, presenting skills, and a knack for visual storytelling.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Attributes: A creative thinker with excellent communication skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
